Linda H. Arledge

August 31, 1946 — February 15, 2022

ARLEDGE , Linda “Lynn” Jane (Henley), 75, a retired State of Alabama, AL Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Account Clerk II, and resident of Deatsville, Alabama, passed peacefully in her sleep on February 15, 2022, following struggles with diabetes and kidney failure. Born in Clanton, she was the daughter of the late Alee and Arthur Carlos Henley, and was raised in Sylacauga, AL.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 51 years, Gerald Wayne Arledge. Her children include Blane (Morgan Kelley) Arledge- Clanton, AL, and Crystal (Christopher) Aplin- Auburn, AL. Grandchildren are Ava and Noah Aplin- Auburn, AL; and Kayman, Anakin and Fallon Arledge- Clanton, AL. A sister, Debbie Duncan- Sylacauga, AL, and numerous nieces and nephews of the Henley and Arledge families.

Jeremy Gillentine will officiate the services.

Honorary Pallbearers include Blane Arledge, Chris Aplin, Evan Hollon, Dion Arledge, Max Arledge, and Steve Carden.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2 PM in the chapel of Mt Nebo Methodist Church, 2185 County Road 30, Clanton, AL. Visitation 1-2 PM, prior to service, and burial services immediately following. In lieu of flowers, live plants to celebrate her life.
