Linda Faye Cory, 71, of Alabaster died Wednesday, May 11, 2016. She was born on Tuesday, February 13, 1945 in Clanton, AL, Daughter of the late Earl E. Foshee and Martha Fox Foshee. She worked for the Social Security Administration. Surviving are Mother, Martha F. Foshee of Jemison, AL; Daughter, Tarra (Ray) Black of Chelsea, AL; Son, Jason Cory of Alabaster, AL; Brother, Kenneth (Gail) Foshee of Jemison, AL; Uncle, James Fox of Waldorf, MD; Niece, Deidra (Chris) Gray of Jemison, AL; Nephew, Matthew Foshee of Jemison, AL. Friends will be received from 5-7, Friday, May 13, 2016 @ Pleasant Grove Baptist #1. Services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Grove Bapt. #1 with Rev. Billy Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Bapt. #1 Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
