Linda Sue Nevius Jenkins, 70, of Clanton died Wednesday, August 22, 2012. She was born on Thursday, May 7, 1942 in Arkansas, Daughter of the late David C. Nevius and the late Marilyn A. Bleckler Nevius. She was a retired Owner of The Daisy Shop Flower and Gifts in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Member of the Alpha Omega Chapter of Delta Gamma Sorority at the University of Arkansas. Member of Eastern Star. Lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home,AR. Surviving are her Husband of 49 years, Minor Ross Jenkins, Jr. of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Robin (Chip) Hill of Montgomery, AL, Jennifer (Mike) Branch of Florence, OR; Son, Minor Ross Jenkins, III of Tuscaloosa, AL; 2 Sisters, Davalee Nevius Hitchcock of Murphy, NC, Cindy Nevius Sanders of Kemah, TX; 4 Granddaughters, Hannah Branch of Florence, OR, Haley Jenkins of Tuscaloosa, AL, Linda Hill of Montgomery, AL, Jessica Jenkins of Tuscaloosa, AL; 6 Nieces & 7 Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Sister, Anita Holifield. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church, Clanton.
