Linda B. Lessley

Linda B. Lessley, of Jemison, Alabama passed away December 6, 2025, at home in Jemison, AL

She was born June 9th 1944, in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Adrain Beasley and the late Leora Beasley.

Linda is a graduate of Jemison High School and a member of Jemison First Baptist Church. She was a friend to all who knew her. She was known for her love for people and her special love for animals. She possessed a kind heart, a gentle caring spirit, and a humble attitude.

Surviving are her Husband, Gene Lessley; Son, Brett (Kim) Lessley; Grandson, Blake Lessley; Sister Louise Day and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Adrain Beasley; Mother, Leora Beasley; Sister, Shirley (George) Mcphatter; and Brother, Carl (Cindy) Beasley.

A special thanks to Louise Cleckler, a close life-long friend who provided loving care for Linda these past few days and to her mother before she passed in 2015.

Friends will be received on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Wilson officiating.

The family requests donations to Jemison First Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
