Lois Amy GILLILAND, 97, of Rockford died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Friday, July 14, 1911 in Coosa Co., AL, Daughter of the late B.C. Guy and the late Mary Steel Guy. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 5 Sons, Roy "Buddy" Gilliland, Donald (Marie) Gilliland, Joe (Sue) Gilliland, Robert (Gail) Gilliland, Jimmy (Mildred) Gilliland; Daughter, Virginia G. Hughes; 14 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Cornelis "Bill" (Frances) Guy; Sister, Mary Ward. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Bertie & Lizzie Guy; Husband, J.E. Gilliland; Daughter, Elizabeth Gilliland McGrady; Brother, Raymond Guy; Sister, Katherine Guy Bonnett. Friends will be received from 6-8, Saturday, June 20, 2009 @ Sardis Baptist Church, Coosa Co. AL. Services will be held Sunday, June 21, 2009, at 2:00 PM. at Sardis Baptist Church with Rev.
