Lois Headley Hamilton, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025. She was born on September 7, 1928, daughter of the late Lonza Headley and the late Lula Henley Headley.
She along with her late husband Hershel Hamilton of 65 years, were peach farmers in Chilton County. Her pride was her children and grandchildren. She found great joy working in her yard, where she lovingly tended to her flowers. She was a faithful member of Highland Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Allen) Cooedy; Grandchildren, Keith (Mindi) Cooedy, Rebecca (John) Logan and Kelly Willis; Great Grandchildren, James, Rachael, Leah, and Lauren;
Great-greatgrandchildren, Eden, Jaxon, Rylee, Raelynn and Matthew; brother, Robert (Ola Mae) Headley.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Lonza Headley; Mother, Lula Hendley Headley; Husband, Hershel Hamilton; Daughter, Debbie Hamilton Ridgeway; Sisters, Frances Pounders and Eunice Mims, Brothers, Samuel, Clarence, Renfroe, Ernest, and Alvin.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Baptist Church Cemetery.
