Lois Devaughn Nobles

Lois DeVaughn Nobles, 89, of Verbena, Alabama passed away November 2, 2021 at her niece's residence, Chalice Kicker. She was born November 23, 1931 in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of the late Archie Mack DeVaughn and the late Dorothy Irene Traywick DeVaughn. She retired with AT&T after 21 years as a phone operator. Surviving are her Niece, Chalice Kicker; Sisters, Euba DeVaughn Melhem, Clara Ann DeVaughn; Grandsons, Matthew (Kristen) Taylor, William Taylor; Daughter-in-Law, Ola Taylor; Special Caregiver, Gayle Ewing; Numerous Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father, Archie Mack DeVaughn; Mother, Dorothy Irene Traywick DeVaughn; Husband, Robert Nobles; and Son, Robert W. Taylor. Friends will be received Friday, November 12, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Verbena Baptist Church. Memorial Services will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Verbena Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Simpler officiating.
