She was born on Monday, April 23, 1934 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Arthur Mims and the late Ruby Foshee. She was a Laborer. Surviving are her 4 Sons, Jackie W. Gentry, James A. Gentry of Clanton, AL, William E. Cleckler of Clanton, AL, Michael L. Cleckler of Clanton, AL; 3 Daughters, Lora M. Murr of Clanton, AL, Cindy M. Varden of Maplesville, AL, Mary A. Hollinger of Clanton, AL; 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6-8, Thursday, April 2, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, April 3, 2009, at 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thurman Cleckler officiating. Interment will follow in Samaria Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
