Lona Pearl Porter , 100, of Clanton, Alabama passed away August 26, 2026, at a local nursing home.

She was born December 13, 1925, in Alabama, daughter of the late Thomas Williamson and the late Lizzie Williamson.

She worked at the Tag Department with Chilton County and after retirement she worked at Walmart for 15 years. She loved West End Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

Surviving are her Son, Bo (Pam) Owens, Daughter, Kay Dennis, Grandson, Kyle (Rachelle) Dennis, Great-Grandson, Clay Dennis, Great-Grandson, Remy Dennis, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Thomas Earl Williamson, Mother, Lizzie Leona Williamson, 1st Husband, John Will Owens, 2nd Husband, Sidney Porter, Son, J. Allen Owens, Son-in-Law, William Dennis, 8 Brothers and Sisters.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at West End Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 11:00 am. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. James Watkins and Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Patrick and Blake Norman, Kyle Dennis, Terry Wyatt, Frank Owen, and Randle Tibbs.

Flowers will be accepted or donations to the West End Baptist Church Building Fund, 2005 2nd Ave. North, Clanton, AL 35045
