Lonza Cleckler

Lonza Cleckler, 85, of Jemison died Saturday, July 14, 2018. He was born on Saturday, June 24, 1933 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Theodore Cleckler and the late Lillie Dennis Cleckler. Lonza was a special person with special needs who touched our lives in a very special way. Surviving are Nephews, Jackie (Wanda) Day, Alan Day, Eddie (Kim) Day, Johnny Day, Jerry (Denise) Rhodes, James (Darlene) Rhodes, William Earl (Becky) Rhodes; Nieces, Ann (Kenny) Courtney, Debbie (Ricky) Easterling, Sherry (James) Heflin, Brenda Day. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Theodore & Lillie Cleckler, Stepmother, Leona Langston Cleckler. Sisters, Marie Rhodes, Mary Carolyn Rhodes and Margarette Gibson, Stepbrothers, Cham Langston and Hubert Langston. Friends will be received from 4-6, Sunday, July 15, 2018 @ Martin Chapel. Services will be held Monday, July 16, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Jacob Day and Rev. David Farris officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery, Thorsby, AL.
