Louise Missildine Howard

Louise Missildine Howard, age 101, widow of Ernest Curtis Weldon and William Bostwick Howard, Jr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at her son's home in Clinton, SC. Born in Billinsgley, AL, she was the daughter of the late Dennis Holmes and Dixie Lee Missildine. She is survived by her son, William Bostwick Howard, III and wife Dale, of Clinton, SC; her daughter, Katy Joyce Fowler and husband, Rex, of Fayetteville, GA; two brothers, Robert Missildine of Alabaster, AL, and Dennis Holmes Missildine, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; seven grandchildren, Dale Garrison Howard of Greenville, SC; Barrett Howard Justice of Chicago, IL; Lynn Fowler Beckett and husband, Brian, of Birmingham, AL; Daniel Rex Fowler and wife, Bonita, of Hamlin, WV; Cheryl Lee Fowler of Smyrna, GA; and Weldon Allen Fowler and wife, Shannon, of Fayetteville, GA; five great-grandchildren, Katy Louise and Emily Jane Beckett of Birmingham, Al; Chapman Rex Fowler of Hamlin, WV; and Rachel Michelle and Samuel Owen Fowler of Fayetteville, GA. In additon to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Howard was predeceased by four brothers and five sisters. Visitation will be held January 29, 2011 at 11:30am at Martin Funeral Home, Clanton, AL with a memorial service to follow at 2:00pm at New Cedron Baptist Church, Billingsley, AL.
