He was born on Thursday, December 4, 1924 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Tabitha Smith. He was a Logger. Surviving are his 3 Daughters, Mrs. Loretta (Jim) Dill of Pelham, AL, Mrs. Wanda Smith of Jemison, AL, Mrs. Becky (Tim) Mims of Clanton, AL; 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Mrs. Wilma Able of Jemison, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mrs. Doris Smith; Grandson, Mr. Wade Smith Harris; Son-in-Law, Mr. L.C. Smith; Granddaughter, Miss Faith Smith; 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, October 3, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, October 4, 2010, at 2:00 P.M.. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev.
