She was born on Tuesday, November 9, 1926 in Georgiana, AL, Daughter of the late Marvin Washington and the late Maggie Dean Salter. She was a Teacher. Surviving are Daughters, Nancy (Don) Hartley, Alison (Andy) Stubbs; Son, Jimmy (Cathy) Walker; Grandchildren, Brandon McCullar, Maggie McCullar, Lucy Williams, Jarrod Stubbs, Katie Natalie, Jim Walker; 8 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Marvin & Maggie Salter, Husband, Elmer Wilson (Shorty) Walker, Husband, Horace Smith.
