Luckie Lenora CARDEN, 78, of Jemison died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Saturday, September 5, 1931 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Daughter of the late Chalmus Martin Brown and the late Hazel Jae Cole. She was a Machine Operator. Surviving are her Husband, Robert Earl Carden of Jemison, AL; 2 Sons, John (Mary) Butler of Pell City, AL, Thomas (Diane) Butler, California; 2 Daughters, Tammy (Mike) Raines of Bethpage, TN, Leah Gray of Clanton, AL; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Joyce Tinker of Pell City, AL, Rebecca (Herman) West of Oneonta, AL. She was preceded in death by her Daughter, Vickie Ruchs and Grandson, Roger Eugene Waldrop. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, May 13, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, May 14, 2010, at 11:00AM. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, AL.
