Lula Bell Cleckler, 83, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 24, 2022 in Clanton, Alabama.

She was born August 24, 1938 in Alabama, daughter of the late Claudie Smitherman and the late Mytle Smitherman.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her Sons, Wayne (Freda) Cleckler, Claudie (Darlene) Cleckler; Daughter, Mary Cleckler; Kathy (Jerry) Devers; 9 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Louise Mims.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert "Dick" Cleckler; Parents, Claudie & Mytle Smitherman; Numerous Brothers & Sisters.

Friends will be received Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Calvin Smitherman officiating.

Interment will follow in Old Macedonia Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
