Lurlene B. Blackmon, 96, of Maplesville died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Thursday, August 25, 1921 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Major J. Bolton and the late Martha Well Bolton. She was a Machinist for a Textile Industry. Surviving are Niece, Barbara Bolton; Great Niece, Melissa Combs; Great-Great-Nieces, Jasmine Great-Great-Great-Niece, Autumn. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Melvin Blackmon. Friends will be received from 5-7, Monday, March 19, 2018 @ Martin Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating.
