Luvene Boothe, 98, of Jemison, Alabama passed away November 14, 2023, at Bibb County Medical Center.

She was born March 2, 1925, in Alabama, daughter of the late Cleveland Langston and the late Alice Langston.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Daughters, Gwen (Eddie Batte) Price, JoAnn (Ronald) Maddox, Bonnie (Daniel) James; Son, Gregory Best; Granddaughters, Tammy Smitherman, Regina James, Carol Bice, Christy Hay, Candice Lucas, Salesha Jones; Grandsons, Kevin Ray, Michael James, Bradley Lucas, Joey Jones, Jason Jones, Jarrod Jones, Jacob Jones, Cory Best; Numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren; Sister, Elsie Frith.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Cleveland Columbus Langston, Mother, Alice Langston, Son, Carl Jones, Daughter, Betty Lucas, Brothers & Sisters.

Friends will be received Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. William Earl Short officiating.

Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery , Jemison, Alabama.
