Darran Lynn Gothard, 51, of Jemison died Sunday, January 27, 2019 at UAB, Birmingham. He was born on Friday, January 12, 1968 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of Glenn Howard Gothard and Sheila Mae Emfinger Gothard. He was a Saw Operator. Surviving are Wife, Deanna Gothard; Parents, Glenn & Sheila Gothard; Sisters, Lawana Gothard Hall (Bo), Sonja Gothard Lowery; Nieces, Shauna Westberry (Matthew), Meshia Lowery, Kelsey Lowery, Morgan Lowery, Devin Peppers; Nephews, Cory Hall (Nikki), Joseph Hall (Katlyn), Josh Peppers, David Peppers; 1 Great-Niece, 3 Great-Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Howard "Pop" & Louise Gothard, Grandparents, Clarence & Louise Emfinger. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, January 31, 2019 @ Mars Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, February 1, 2019, at 12:00 P.M.. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Lavon Lowery & Rev. William Short officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama. No Flowers please donate to the funeral fund.
