She was born on Thursday, November 2, 1916 in Coosa Co., AL, Daughter of the late Charlie Woodfin and the late Marinda Melton Woodfin. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 3 Sons, Marty (Julia) Courtney of Verbena, AL, Kenny (Ann) Courtney of Clanton, AL, Charles (Margaret) Courtney of Verbena, AL; 6 Grandchildren, Michelle Evans, Rachael Penton, Elizabeth Whipple, Clay Courtney, Kevin Courtney, Britney Freeman; 7 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Cecil Courtney. Friends will be received from 5-8, Saturday, May 21, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, May 22, 2011, at 2:00 P.M.. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Cem., Verbena, Alabama.
