Major Alex T. Hayes, Jr., 69, of Clanton died Friday, May 31, 2013 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Tuesday, July 20, 1943 in Florida, Son of the late Alex T. Hayes, Sr. and the late Reba Payton Hayes. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force. Surviving are his Wife, Thongchua M. Hayes of Clanton, AL; Son, Allan Hayes of Columbiana, AL; Daughter, J.J. Namsuwan of West Palm Beach, FL; Brother, Allen Hayes of Citronelle, AL; 2 Sisters, Judy Kilgore of Trafford, AL & Bobbie Leland of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by a son, Albert Hayes. Visitation will be Monday, June 10, 2013, from 12-1pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, June 10, 2013 at 1:00P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
