She was born on Thursday, August 6, 1925 in Chambers Co., AL, Daughter of the late James William Smith and the late Lura Maybelle Brown Smith. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Betty Smith of Clanton, AL; Son, Donnie Minor of Clanton, AL; Grandsons, Rick Deloney of Montgomery, AL, Ryan Deloney of Clanton, AL, Sam Minor of Clanton, AL; Granddaughter, Katie Nelson of Bessemer, AL; Special Daughter-in-Law, Katie Smith of Verbena, AL; 9 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Several nieces & nephews; Special Friend, Debbie Orange of Clanton, AL; Little Companion, Bischon Dog Lamb Chop. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ed Carter; Parents; 5 Brothers; James Mark Deloney, Grandson; Mike Smith, Special Nephew. Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2018 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, January 11, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Deloney officiating.
