Margaret Ann Williams Weldon

Margaret Ann Williams Weldon, 96, of Clanton, Alabama passed away December 30, 2024, at The Gardens in Clanton.

She was born August 19, 1928, in Alabama, daughter of the late Morris Leland Williams and the late Ruby Nell Chandler Williams.

Margaret and her husband Charlie were long time active members of West End Baptist Church in Clanton and loved their church. Both sung in church choir and taught Sunday School. Charlie served for many years as a deacon. Margaret and Charlie were married for sixty years at his death on December 23, 2005.

Surviving are her Niece, Carla Culp, Nephews, Paul (Sherri) Culp, Charles A. Hay, Clyde L. (Joyce) Hay, Ken (LouAnn) Arant.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Morris Leland Williams, Mother, Ruby Nell Williams, Husband, Charlie B. Weldon, Brother, Bobby Morris Williams, Sister, Ruby Elizabeth Williams Culp, Niece, Carolyn Arant Martin, Niece, Rubye Marilyn White, Nephew, Charles Leland Culp.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. from West End Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Martin and Rev. James Watkins officiating.

Interment will follow in Prattville Memorial Gardens in Prattville, AL.
