Marguerite S. Eady

Mrs. Marguerite S. Eady passed away at her home in Randolph, Alabama on Dec. 29, 2013. She was born on Dec. 31, 1914 to George W. Smitherman, Sr. and Vashti Cummings Smitherman. She was the widow of Wilbur Eady. A long-time teacher and principal at Randolph Elementary School, "Miss Marguerite" touched the lives of many and her sweet spirit will be greatly missed in the community. Also mourning her loss and missing her presence in our lives are her survivors: Brother, John Sutton Smitherman of Randolph; Nephews, S. Larry Smitherman, Fred S. Lawley, Thomas G. Smitherman; Nieces, Diane L. Steinlage, Camilla L. Ehrett, Donna L. Dye, and Judy S. McGowen; Numerous Grandnieces and Grandnephews. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Randolph Baptist Church, where Mrs. Eady was a life-long member.
