She was born on Sunday, October 23, 1927 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Albert Jackson Martin and the late Myrtle Gothard Martin. She was a Battery Operator at the Cotton Mill. Surviving are her Sons, Miley J. (Donna) Avery of Alabaster, AL, Donny Avery of Clanton, AL, Danny Avery of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Rhonda Avery Simpson of West Blockton, AL; 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, E.C. Martin of West Blockton, AL; Sister, Jeanette Langston of Thorsby, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Miley M. "Jack" Avery; Brothers; Marshall Martin, Thomas Martin, M.C. Martin, L.C. Martin. Friends will be received from 6-8, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev.
