Marie Kay Pate, 76, of Clanton, Alabama passed away January 13, 2026, at her residence in Clanton, AL.

She was born December 30, 1949, in Alabama, daughter of the late O.V. Wright and the late Flossie Wright.

She was a Bus Driver.

Surviving are her Son, Phillip Pate; Daughter, Donna (Jeff Curl) Davis; Step-Daughter, Becky Pate; Step-Son, David (Sandra) Pate; Sisters, Otha Little, Willie Mae (Bryant) Crowe, Faye Cunningham; Grandsons, Chase (Landry) Pate, Cody (Hayden) Pate, Dalton Pate, Jordan (Ashton) Davis, Brandon McGhar, Chad McGhar, Adam Pate, Matthew Pate, Mason Pate; 17 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jerry Pate; Father, O.V. Wright; Mother, Flossie Wright; Brother, Calvin Wright; Sister, Gloria Brown.

Friends will be received Friday, January 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeal Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Vanderslice officiating.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, Alabama.
