Marion Robinson, 86, of Jemison died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Thursday, March 27, 1924 in Alabama, Son of the late Joe Robinson and the late Maude Scott Robinson. He was a Machinist. Surviving are his Daughter, Brenda (Ed) Easterling of Jemison, AL; Son, Roger (Lynn) Robinson of Deatsville, AL; Granddaughter, Jenna Robinson of Auburn, AL; Grandson, Shane (Karen) Easterling of Ashville, AL; 4 Great Grandchldren, 1 Step Grandchild, 1 Great Great Grandson; Brother, J.O. Robinson of Jemison, AL; 2 Sisters, Lois Porter of Thorsby, AL, Clara Campbell of Thorsby, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Virginia Robinson. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, January 18, 2011 @ Pates Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at 2:00 P.M.. at Pates Chapel Baptist with Rev. Clint Harris and Rev. Willard Frederick officiating. Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, AL . In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Pates Chapel Building Fund.
