Marjorie Cox Martin, 91, of Clanton died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, April 8, 1925 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Jadie Cox and the late Gladys Bernice Littleton Cox. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Son, Mr. Kent (Susan) Martin of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Ms. Nelda Wood of Lexington, NC; Grandchildren, Mark Wood, Jay Wood, Shawn Ellison, Brent Jones; Great-Grandchildren, Brandon Ellison, Jackson Wood, Hannah Wood; Step-Grandson, John David Agnos. She was preceded in death by her Husband, William A. "Hunk" Martin; Daughter, Dean Martin Lamar. Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Collins Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Collins Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Don Graham and Rev. William Key officiating.
