He was born on Sunday, August 2, 1942 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Huey Matthew Parker and the late Lena Marie Jackson Parker. He was a Mechanic. Surviving are Daughter, Cindy (Lamar) Jones of Clanton, AL; Son, Chris (Krystal) Parker of Clanton, AL; Grandchildren, Heath Jones, Meagan Jones, Ashley Parker, Raelyn Parker; Great-Grandchildren, Braxton Jones, Dalton Turk, Jaxson Jones, Conner Jones, Shelby-Lynn Jones, Easton Jones; Sisters, Mary Kate (Harold) Garrison of Thorsby, AL, Elaine (John) Blake of Woodstock, AL; Special Friend, Judy Patterson of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Shelby Parker, Parents, Huey & Marie Parker and Brother, Edward Parker. Friends will be received from 1-2, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
