Mary Lena Mitchell Adams, 101, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 21, 2021 at The Gardens, Clanton, AL. She was born December 22, 1919 in Chattahoochee, Florida, daughter of the late Olif Mitchell and the late Ada Buchanan Mitchell. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Phylis A. (Randy) Otwell,; Step-Son, Philip F. Adams Jr.; Grandchildren, Katie O. (Kaylan) Thrash, Philip Ray (Michelle) Otwell, Emma O. (Chase) Bartlett, Terry E. Radford; Great-Children, Gabe, Adam, Joe, Ellie; Sisters, Virgie Vance, Ollie Ruth Russell. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Philip F. Adams, Sr.; Father, Olif Mitchell; Mother, Ada Buchanan Mitchell. Friends will be received Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 2:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Philip Guin officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Methodist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
