Mary Orell Baker

Graveside funeral services for Mary Orell Baker, 80, of Clanton, were held at Temple Assembly of God Cemetery on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dale Collins officiating. Mrs. Baker was born in Chilton County on Monday, July 20, 1936, the daughter of Richard Almon and the late Rhoda Bolton Brewer. She died Sunday, May 28, at her home in Clanton. Surviving relatives include her daughters, Becky (Ben) Tucker of Clanton and Teresa (Greg) Allen of Dothan; her Brother, Thomas Neal Brewer of Clanton; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, James Aaron Baker; her parents; her three sister, Rebecca Ann Brewer, Pearline Davenport, and Margie Porter; and one brother, William Edgar Brewer. The family would like to say a special "Thanks" to Celeste Mullins and Southern Care Hospice, her special friend Jimmy Plier, and the special assistance and compassion provided by Cassandra Lilly and Paula Lett.
