Mary Helen Burks, 77, of Verbena died Friday, February 17, 2012. She was born on Saturday, October 13, 1934 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late James Henry Driver and the late Viola Bullard Driver. She was a Cashier. Surviving are her 3 Daughters, Linda (Timmy) Wells, Wanda (Mike) Lowery, Valerie (Mark) Arant; 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Granchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, R. E. Burks. Friends will be received from 6-8, Sunday, February 19, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, February 20, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Perkins and Rev. Derek Deavers officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Bapt. Cem., Verbena, AL . Martin Funeral Home directing.
