Mary Frances Clackler

Mary Frances Jones Clackler, 82, died January 3, 2014. Mrs. Clackler was born September 25, 1931 in Clanton, the daughter of Horace C. and Mary McSwain Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Clackler, whom she adoringly loved and married in 1950. She graduated from Chilton County High School, Clanton, in the class of 1949. She is survived by her 3 children: Deborah Clark (Bobby) of NC; Brenda Superko (Robert) of CA; Mike Clackler (Laura) of GA; 6 grandchildren: Derrell and Brandon Clark, Daniel and Jason Garrett, Chris Lamon and Amanda Clackler, great-granddaughter, Lily Clackler; her sister, Betty Collins of Clanton; her step-mother-in-law, Frances C. Clackler and half-sister-in-law, Anita Griffin, both of Clanton. The world may have lost a great woman; but heaven gained an angel forever. Funeral services will be Monday, January 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William King officiating. Interment will be in Martin Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 am Monday at Martin Funeral Home.
