Mary Elizabeth Edwards, 72, of Verbena, Alabama passed away February 24, 2022 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, Alabama.

She was born December 13, 1949 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Sidney Scarbrough and the late Vera Coker.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Amazing Homemaker.

Surviving are her Husband, Jimmy Joe Edwards; Daughter, Janet (James) Cooper; Son, Tony (Becki) Edwards; Son, David (Becki) Edwards; Son, Bobby Joe Edwards; Daughter, Misty Edwards; 10 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Her Brother, Jack; Brother, Tommy; Brother, Wayne; Brother, Bill; Sister, Judy; Sister, Ann; Granddaughter, Tara; Grandson, Tyler; Father, Sidney B. Scarbrough; Mother, Vera Belle Coker.

Friends will be received Monday, February 28, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Monday, February 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Jones officiating.
