Mary Louise Genard, 73, of Jemison, Alabama passed away March 9, 2023, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL.

She was born October 31, 1949, in Selma, Alabama, daughter of  the late William Henry Bender and the late Era Little Bender.

She was a Maintenance Planner.

Surviving are her Son, Mike (Stephanie) Genard, Son, Landon Keith Genard, Grandson, Jacob Atchison, Granddaughter, Jessica Atchison, Grandson, Jonathan Atchison, Granddaughter, Farron Brooke Yarbrough, Granddaughter, Lacey Leaptrott, Grandson, Lake Genard, Granddaughter, Chandler Kirkland, Granddaughter, Charlee Kirkland, Granddaughter, Harley Genard, Grandson, Lane Genard, Sister, Henrietta DeRamus, Brother, Sam (Margie) Bender, Great-Grandson, Easton Yarbrough, Great-Grandson, Asher Yarbrough, Great-Granddaughter, Lemley Leaptrott, Great-Grandson, Samuel Leaptrott, Great-Grandson, Nash Atchison, Great-Grandson, Kannon Atchison, Great-Granddaughter, Kameryn Atchison.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Era Bender, Father, William Henry Bender, Daughter, Linda Atchison, Granddaughter, Rustie Lynn.

Friends will be received Monday, March 13, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Monday, March 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with, Rev. Greg Nobles officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, Alabama.
