Mary Loise Johnson

Mary Johnson of Prattville, AL has been welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior on October 30, 2025. Born May 4, 1949 to Arthur Stewart and Margaret Coleman in Detroit, Michigan, she traveled to California where she married and had her children David Paul Isaias Nixon (Maryann Nixon), Michaele Arthur Joseph Stewart (Pamela Stewart) Daniel Steven Nixon (Kristy Scharpenberg …) and Sarah Marie Jones (Howard Jones) Her adventures continue and she moves to Washington state where she marries Henry Glenn Johnson and would go on to retire from the Washington Corrections Center for Women. In retirement she moved to Prattville, Alabama where she was able to spend time with her children, grand children (20 in total) and 6 great grand children and her beloved dog Harvey. She loves the Lord most fervently and was a member at Big Springs Baptist Church in Billingsly, Alabama. Mary was preceded in death by her son David, her brother Arthur Stewart and her parents.

Friends will be received Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Big Springs Baptist Church.

Services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1:00 pm. at Big Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Will Dismuke Tyson officiating.

Interment will follow in Big Springs Baptist Cemetery, , .
