Mary Seymour MINOR, 88, of Birmingham died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Birmingham. She was born on Friday, June 4, 1920 in Lanette, Alabama, Daughter of the late John J. Seymour and the late Pearl Morgan Seymour. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Son, Mr. Kenneth Minor of Birmingham, AL; Daughter, Mrs. Sharon Minor-Biel of Atlanta, GA; Sister, Mrs. Jacquelyn S. Jones of West Point, GA. She was preceded in death by: Husband, Dr. Ed Minor, Jr.. Friends will be received from 5-8 pm Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Martin Chapel and from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, May 29, 2009 at Martin Chapel Services will be held Friday, May 29, 2009, at 2:00 pm. at Graveside with Rev. David Jonesofficiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, AL 35045. Mary was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and a dedicated servant of God. She lived her life to the fullest, and we mourn her loss, but celebrate her homegoing. Martin Funeral Home directing.
