Mary Hutchins Neece, age 67, was born on January 20, 1959, in Blue Island, Illinois. She later made her home in Verbena, Alabama, where she was deeply loved and cherished by her family.

Mary was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for and spending time with her family. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and the unwavering love she showed to those closest to her. Her presence brought comfort and strength, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, David Neece; her children, Rebekah Cobb, Sarah Neece, and Anthony Neece; her son-in-law, Lukas Cobb; her daughter-in-law, Katie Neece; and her cherished grandchildren, Grayson Cobb, Deanna Cobb, and Beckett Neece. She is also survived by her brother, Olen Hutchins, and her sisters, Kay Turner and Peggy Windom.

She was preceded in death by her father, Olen P. Huntchins; her mother, Ann Cobern Huntchins; and her sister, Debbie Sims.

Mary’s legacy of love, care, and devotion will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Friends will be received Friday, May 8, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held , May 8, 2026, at 2:20 pm. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Woodie Turner officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama.
