She was born on Friday, May 19, 1922 in Sweetwater, Tennessee, Daughter of the late Glen Hugh Thomas and the late Delta York Gent Thomas. She was a retired clerk. Surviving are Daughter, Mrs. Pat (Jimmy) Glenn of Madison, AL; Son, Mr. Erskine R. Baker, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL; Granddaughter, Ms. Julie Griffin of Madison, AL; Great-Grandchildren, Ramsey and Thomas Griffin of Madison, AL; 3 Sisters, Ms. Delta Perdue of Winston Salem, NC, Ms. Josephine Rodman of Kansas City, MO, Ms. Betty Stratton of Huntland, TN; Brother, Mr. Frank Thomas of Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erskine Baker. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, February 13, 2011, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Don Graham officiating.
