Mary Kate Weir, 81, of Verbena, Alabama passed away October 19, 2024, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton, AL.
She was born December 19, 1942, in Alabama, daughter of the late George Tucker and the late Mary Elizabeth Tucker.
She was the 1961 Chilton County Peach Queen, a proud graduate of Birmingham Southern College with a degree in Chemistry, where she was a Microbiologist Instructor at Southern Research Institute, and later opened and operated an Antique Shop in Chilton County.
Surviving are her Daughters, Rachel (David) Giles, Mary Allison (Mike) Hamilton; Son, Mark Tucker (Lana) Weir; Grandchildren, Chance Hamilton, Carter Giles, Emily Hamilton, Rayce Giles, Selah Weir, Rhett Weir; Brother, George (Elizabeth) Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her loving Husband of over fifty years, Robert Eugene Weir, Jr; Father, George Hackworth Tucker; Mother, Mary Elizabeth Tucker.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
