Mattie Estelle W. Thompson, 89, of Thorsby died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Fairhaven Nursing Home, Birmingham. She was born on Sunday, February 4, 1923 in Dallas Co., AL, Daughter of the late Jesse Morgan Wilson and the late Emma Ulva Cornelius Wilson. Surviving are her Daughters, Annette T. (Bill) Latham of Clanton, AL, Vonnette T. (Eddie) McWilliams of Irondale, AL; Grandsons, Jason Latham of Hoover, AL, Mark McWilliams of Homewood, AL; Granddaughters, Jennifer Latham Huntley of Clanton, AL, Lisa McWilliams of Auburn, AL; Great-Grandchildren, Piper, Emmie & Sutton Latham of Hoover, AL, Braxton, Asher & Tennyson Huntley of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ernest Vaughn (E.V.) Thompson, Father, Jesse Morgan Wilson and Mother, Emma Ulva Cornelius Wilson. Friends will be received from 1-2, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Don Campbell officiating.
