Mavis Lovijean Caton, 87, of Verbena, Alabama passed away April 2, 2020 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton, Alabama. She was born August 1, 1932 in Clanton, Alabama, to Armon (Shine) and Verlie Mims. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughters, Elaine (Joe) Connell, Virginia Garrick, Josephine Caton, Son, Roger (Diane) Caton, all of Clanton, Ten Grandchildren and a host of Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Roy H. Caton, Brother, George H.(Little Shine) Mims, Father, Armon (Big Shine) and Mother, Verlie Mims. Services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Bell Lane Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Tony Christianson officiating. Interment will follow in Bell Lane Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. There will be a live stream of the services on Martin Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook page. Martin Funeral Home directing.
