Mavis Annette Gwin, 83, of Jemison, Alabama passed away April 5, 2022 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama.

She was born March 5, 1939 in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of the late Euel Langston and the late Myrtle Robinson.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her Son, Brian (Rita) Gwin; Grandson, Jerame (Haley) Smith; Great-Granddaughter, Celina Smith; Great-Grandson, Beckum Smith; Sister, Margaret Underwood.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Euel Langston; Mother, Myrtle Robinson; Husband, Berring Andrew Gwin.

Friends will be received Friday, April 8, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, April 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shawn Bright officiating.

Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
