Merilyn Jean Scarbrough, 92, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 24, 2026, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton, AL.

She was born December 24, 1933, in Alabama, daughter of the late Leonard Wyatt and the late Annie Wyatt.

She was a Assistant VP in Cash Management.

Surviving are her Sons, Brian Keith Scarbrough, Bruce David (Kathy) Scarbrough; Grandsons, Blake (Liz) Edwards, Jered (Lizzy) Scarbrough, Tyler Scarbrough; Granddaughters, Ashley (Eric) Ellison, Tia Scarbrough; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Charles Alvin Wyatt.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jasper D. Scarbrough; Father, Leonard A. Wyatt; Mother, Annie Pearl Wyatt; Brother, Butch Wyatt; Sister, Geraldine West,

Friends will be received Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeal Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
