Michael "Mumer" Brian Martin, 52, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away April 16, 2020 at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. He was born January 19, 1968 in Birmingham, Alabama, son of Dale L. Martin and Minnie Walker Martin. He was a Police Dispatcher with University of Montevallo Campus Police for over 15 years. He enjoyed reading, food, video games, movies, and spending time with all of his friends. Surviving are his Mother, Minnie W. Martin of Thorsby, AL; Sister, Denise Martin (Paul) Barnes of Alabaster, AL; Brother, Danny Martin of Tucson, AZ; Niece, Katy Barnes; Nephews, Nicholas Barnes, Alexander Barnes; Aunts, Uncles, and Friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, Dale L. Martin; Grandparents, Dewey & Ethel Martin; Grandparents, Mozelle & Grady Walker. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Jason Green officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
