Mildred Virginia Cofer, 76, of Clanton died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Wednesday, May 10, 1939 in Cullman, AL, Daughter of the late Etha Lascal Bennett and the late Bertie Mae Palmer. She was a Supervisor for Alabama Plastic Containers. Surviving are her Sons, William Thames, Raymond Dean Thames; Niece, Linda Joyce Nunnley. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Billy Cofer; Father, Mr. E.L. Bennett; Mother, Mrs. Bertie Mae Morrison; Sons, Christopher Cofer, Carl Thames; Sister, Frances Marie Petty. Friends will be received from 10:30-11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Chapel.
