She was born on Thursday, August 17, 1922 in Bibb Co., AL, Daughter of the late Josh West and the late Culley Mobley West. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Carolyn Popwell of Jemison, AL; Son, Lee (Daris) Houlditch of Trussville, AL; Granddaughters, Tracy (Lynn) Smith of Jemison, AL, Sarah (Patrick) Hobbs of Trussville, AL; Grandson, Zac (Kathy) Houlditch of Trussville, AL; Great-Grandchildren, Christopher Wigington of Jemison, AL, Orry Smith of Jemison, AL, Riley Hobbs of Trussville, AL, Cole Hobbs of Trussville, AL, Kaitlyn Berios of Trussville, AL; Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, J.C. Houlditch; Son, Chester Houlditch, Jr. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2016 at Union Springs Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, September 2, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Union Springs Baptist with Rev. Steve Johnson and Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.
