Mildred Louise Kelley, 90, of Verbena, Alabama passed away November 29, 2024, at her residence in Verbena, Alabama.
She was born August 10, 1934, in Opelika. Alabama, daughter of the late Frank Arthur and the late Annie Arthur.
She was a farmer and housewife.
Surviving are her Sons, Randell (Wilma) Kelley, David (Jeffery) Kelley and Daniel (Sharon) Kelley; Daugher-in-law, Janice Kelley; Grandchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Gilliland, Jason (Shannon) Kelley, Beverly (Rodney) Ridgeway, Keith (Misti) Kelley, Garrett Kelley, Lauren (Michael) Avent, Savanna (Tyler) McCullough, Ciara Towers, twenty-three Great-Grandchildren, six Great Great-Grandchildren with two on the way; Brothers, Frank (Mary) Arthur and Delbert (Jenny) Arthur; Sisters, Gracie Veazey and Ruthie (Donald) Davis.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, James M. Kelley; Father, Frank Arthur; Mother, Annie Cleckler Arthur; Son, Wendell Kelley; Sisters, Earlene Allen and Nettie Mae Minor; Brothers, Leroy Arthur, Johnny Arthur and Earl Edward Arthur.
Pallbearers: Nathaniel, Isaiah, Tim, Garrett, Bryant and Tolliver, Michael, Tyler, Dalton, Landon and Jaxson.
Friends will be received Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church.
Services will be held Monday, December 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church with David Kelley, Rev. Jason Kelley and Rodney Ridgeway officiating.
Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama.
In Lieu of flowers, make donations to Life Point Community Church in Billingsley, Alabama, Clanton Church of God in Clanton, Alabama or Trinity Assembly of God in Red Bay, Alabama. Your donations to either one of these churches would be a way for Momma/Granny to continue doing Gods work even though she has already completed her journey
