Minnie Pearl Walker Martin

Minnie Pearl Walker Martin, born on September 5, 1943 in Oneonta, Alabama to Mozell Huffstutler Walker and William Grady Walker. She married Dale Langford Martin on June 26, 1964 in Albertville, Alabama. Minnie was devoted Mother, Nana, and Aunt. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved watching Nascar, Playing Bingo, Genealogy, Reading, and collecting dolls & books. She also was good at managing the family budget.

Surviving include her daughter, Denise Barnes (Paul), son, Danny Martin, and grandchildren, Nick, Katy, and Alex Barnes, sisters, Frances Benefield and Essie Price, many nieces and nephews, friend, Rachel Mullins and sister-in-laws, Kay Bridges and Patsy Aldridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Langford Martin, son, Michael "Mumer" Martin, parents, William Grady and Mozell Huffstutler Walker, brother, Billy Walker, brother, Jackie Walker, and sister, Becky Walker.
