Minnie Faye Mims

Minnie Faye Mims, 89, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away February 6, 2025, at her residence in Thorsby, Alabama.

She was born November 22, 1935, in Alabama, daughter of the late Sam Foshee and the late Flossie Robinson Foshee.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Son, David A (Cindy) Mims; Daughters, Kathy (Phillip) Davenport and Debra (Charles) Waters; Granddaughters, Melissa (Jerry) Hagood and Hanna (Jason) Avello; Grandsons, Matthew (Rachel) Mims, Tyler Waters, Jeremy (Casey) Waters and Ethan Waters; 13 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great Great-Grandchildren; Sister-In-Law, Elaine Foshee; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Durwood Mims; Father, Sam Foshee, Sr.; Mother, Flossie Foshee; Brothers, Sam Foshee, Jr. and Douglas Foshee.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Bussey officiating.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
