Mitchell Cole Martin

Mitchell Cole Martin, of Alabama, passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 47. 

Born on January 16, 1979, Mitch enjoyed being outdoors, grilling with his family, and listening to music. 

Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Martin; his grandfathers, J. Robert Hall Jr., Joy Lee Martin, and Brasher L. Northcutt; his grandmothers, Mary Julia Blewster-Hall and Hazel Martin-Northcutt; his uncles, Matthew Hale Lee, Jerry Martin, and Jerry B. Johnson; and his cousin, Bradley Martin. Mitchell is survived by his children, Andrew, Riley, and Kinsley; his mother, Vicki A. Hall-Martin; his brother, Max Hall Martin; his stepmother, Katherine Martin; his aunts, Jill Hall Lee, Lisa Seaton Hall, Lanell M. Johnson, and Deborah Martin; his uncle, Dr. Rex B. Hall; and a close-knit group of cousins. 

Visitation will be Monday, April 20, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. No service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that time be spent with those you love, in honor of Mitch. Donations may be made to the UAB Stroke Center or Spain Rehabilitation Center.
